back to school

thank you friends for your thoughts and prayers for my transition back to school. i had been so worked up about this school year and my first day back was a good one. i was thinking of all the tough schtuff there is to do at the start up of a year, especially this one w/ some big challenges woven into it. i wasn't remembering all the neat things about returning to school. it was great to see my co-workers and friends there, after having not seen most of them for two months. it was good to see a couple of familiar smiling kid faces as some students came through to visit. it was even good to dig through all my things in one of my classrooms and get excited at the thoughts of new units of study and learning that will happen this year (despite the hurdles). i got my student test scores back from last spring, so this means i won't have to wait forever on that data. my schedule will work out somehow or other. i'm glad to be back at my schools and the joys will add up as the students return and i'm able to work with them. i do love this field, even when it's kinda crazy. thanks again for your care. hugs for you. :)
