20 countries = only 9% of the world

So, today while reading some blogs I found this site again and think it's pretty neat to be able to see where I've been. I added Peru to my list this summer and am up to 20 countries now (i don't count the US). There is still 90% of the world for me to explore (and really lots more than that b/c there are plenty of spots I haven't been to in the countries I've visited). I've got a lot of traveling yet to do! The thing is that in recent summers I've been revisiting places I've liked a lot and where either Spanish or Mandarin Chinese are spoken. (am i getting lazy?! old?!) Not sure yet where my next trip will be. Won't likely make plans until next spring.

Susan was in town briefly this past weekend. It was fun to see her again and relive some of our travel adventures together. We told some stories to friends over dinner and it was interesting how our perspectives were different. I still haven't organized my photos for showing/sharing. I'll try to do that soon, though I'm not sure what format this will take. I have about 450 photos! I bought a digital camera just before my trip and I easily filled the memory card in my month away. We had fun times in South America. :)

Maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to post a photo here in my blog. That would be fun. We'll see. (don't hold your breath!) ;)

p.s. so, when i put the map up i could see the whole world, but now it looks like all of Asia has been cut off... hmmm. any suggestions?

Cori, if you upload your pictures to Flickr, they have a feature that lets you post a photo directly to your blog. If you want help with that sometime, I'd be happy to show you - just let me know.

Thanks, Ryan. I may have to poke around and see what I can mess up... I'll call if I get stuck. :)
